It was about 7:00 pm when Victoria Woodlind found her self at the roller rink with her older "brother" Arthur Kirkland, or other wise known as Great Britain/ England. The ravenette was wearing a pelleted teal skirt with a cute black low v neck. Her black hair was done in a side ponytail and she had a pair of small black fake glasses on. She also had teal and black roller skates on her feet. The British girl looked around to see if there was someone she could talk to besides her brother, but alas she found no one that she knew. She sighed and then smiled slightly deciding to skate a lap around the ring. Once she did she got off and noticed someone who looked fun to talk to, so she expertly skated over to that person. "Hello!! My name is Victoria Woodlind, sorry to bother you but you looked fun to talk to. What's your name?"

Vera had been quite bored that evening, sitting around in her hotel room she had glanced at a ohone book and had spotted an ad for the skateway. She smiled brightly, her pink eyes lighting up and giving her a beautiful look. Vera slipped on a short sleeveless pale tan dress. It was a bit revieling, but that wasn't something Vera ever thought nor worried about. She wrapped her tan and pink scarf around her neck and glanced in the mirror. After a moment or two she sat down and applied a small amount of black eye liner, light brown eye shadow and a hint of blush. She smiled at her reflection and walked out the door, grabbing her old beat up brown skates. Not as good as ice skating, but decent enough. The moment Vera set foot on the skate floor, it was obvious she was quite skilled. She seemed to float across the wood, her scarf trailing behind her giving her an elegant look. After a while she began to get thirsty and get off the floor for a break. After getting a diet Pepsi, she tilted her head curiously as someone came and spoke to her. "Pleasure to make you acquittance, Victoria" She said brightly, her pink eyes once again lighting up her features. "I'm Vera Matveev!" Her voice was soft and sweet and laced with a russian accent.

Victoria Smiled at the girl, noticing her slight Russian accent, and Instantly thinking about Ivan braginski, or Russia, her secret crush. She blushed slightly without noticing that she was. She shook her self out of her thoughts and her teal eyes lit up. " the pleasure is mine!! If you don't mind me asking, where are you from? I noticed an accent but I'm not sure if it is Russian or if it is an accent from a surrounding country of Russia." She blushed and mentally scolded her self for asking such a personal question, but it was already said and the ravenette would never be able to call her words back.

Vera either didn't notice the blush or took no note of it, the lighting was bad in the skateway and the lights flickered a lot as they changed color and direction. Vera's pink eyes seemed to flicker, a darker shade, and her smile faltered momentarily, but was quickly replaced. "Not at all!" She said brightly. "I'm Siberian." That was a common question nowadays, since you often met people from all over the world. Still, Vera hated the Russian that lived around in the area. Vera had short term memory, not even knwoing where she came from, but when that Russian was mentioned all she could think of was cold bitter freezing pain. A shiver ran down her back and she suddenly wished she had worn her shawl like she usually did. Vera was currently living in a hotel, as she didn't have a home that she could remember, and she didn't have a washer or dryer there. Once a week she made a trip to a local laundromat, but the day before Vera had spilled coffee on the shawl and she couldn't afford to go wash it for another 4 days or so. Vera soon realized she had been zoning off and a bright scarlet blush highlighted her cheeks, for once she wasn't quite sure what to say. Her mind had been drifting off and she hardly actually spoke to anyone that may interupt her thoughts. "So... did you come here vith some friendz?" Vera asked politely.

Victoria hardly noticed Vera's smile faltering, but she choose to ignore it, thinking that she my have offended her new friend. She did however notice Vera's blush. "Umm.. I guess you can say he is my friend, you see, I didn't want to come alone so I dragged my brother here because he needed to get off his ass and talk to people. Lately all he does is work, and it stresses him out more than one would think." Her british accent had started to sound worried but held a twinge of Anger in it, and Victoria realized that she was starting to rant, so she blushed and muttered an apology, feeling embarrassed. She looked around to see if she could find her brother and spotted him buying something from the vending machine that no one ever notices. She chuckled slightly. "That's him in the back, by the vending machines."

Vera's honest smile returned and she listened, nodding in the right places and picking up on every tinge of worry and anger in Victoria's voice, something Vera was good at if she felt like trying. "Vell, it vas nice of you to try and get him out of da house and do something!" She commented brightly, laughing a bit off handedly. She glanced at the guy whom the ravenette had pointed out as her brother. She was sure she had seen him at some point, but couldn't quite think of where, not that that wasnt usual for her. She figured it would either come back to her later or she'd forget about it in the first place. "I never come here vith friendz, it'z nice to see vhat new people I come across!" She said as if she actually had a friend to go skating with in the first place. The lights caught Vera's train of thought for sveral moments, the flashing white blue and red lights echoing back in her eyes and reflecting. The site seemed to capture her but she forced her site back to her new fridend. Vera mentally scolded herself for having such a short attention span.
The blond nation was buying a bottled tea out of a vending machine when he noticed his sister, Victoria, look at him while talking to a friend, so to get back at her for dragging him here, he waved to her, the. Sent her a text message saying "do you like what you see, love?" He smiled and chuckled and sat down on a bench and opened his tea and took a swig of it, careful not to spill it on his white British flag shirt, and black pants. He looked at his phone again and read over an email one of the allies sent to him. He thought carefully for a minute and then started to reply not noticing someone walk up to him.

Victoria blushed as her phone vibrated in her pocket, and she pulled it out to see a message from Arthur, she looked at him and stuck her young out at him. She turned her attention back to Vera. " that's neat, normally I come with friends but when I don't I come across people who come with friends so they never talk with me..." She smiled slightly and notice the light color changed. It was pretty but it reminded her of the 4th of July or of Russia's flag, and she blushed instantly again. She scolded herself for getting distracted by her crush, who wasn't even there.

Anke sighed as she stepped into the the skating rink. She had horrid balance, and just looking at her she was extremely frail. No matter what she did she stayed lithe and scrawny. She wore a light black and gray striped sweater and lime green shorts with black skates. She had attempted to fix her hair but said screw it and pulled it back in a loose pony tail. Her make up consisted of eye liner and mascara. Anke felt extremely self conscious, glancing down at her legs, faint trails of scars could be seen running up them. She stood at the entrance for some time, glancing at her crappy little flip phone that Ludwig had insisted she got for "emergency purposes". Meaning she couldn't take care of herself. A half hour had passes and she could be seen dialing a number. She talked for sometime on the phone and her face seemed to go blank, then confused. Finally she flipped her phone shut and sighed. Figures. She had dressed up nice one day, mainly because Ludwig had tried to be nice and buy her some clothes and she ddin't want to hurt his feelings, but she had worn them and actually looked great that day. In the park she had run into a nice guy who had talked to her and asked her out. Here she was, waiting for him. But, he had found someone else to spend the night with, one who maybe wasn't covered in scars, or whos hair was kept nicely or who didn't look completely anorexic and if they did they made it look good. Anke glanced around and saw there was no place to sit besides next to a blonde fellow on a bench. After a moment's hesitation she walked over and sat next to him, on the far edge away from him of course. Anke had asked Ludwig for a ride, she herself didn't know how to drive, and he wasn't going to come back until 11:30. Sure, she could call him, but he would look at her with that quiet look of pity, and maybe Gilbert would laugh it off and joke, but in all honesty it was her damned pride. Oh well. She could wait it out on that very bench until she could finally get picked up.
Arthur looked down from his phone, and noticed that there was a young woman sitting next to him, but he felt as if he had seen her somewhere before. He glanced at her for a bit, but turned away thinking that he was staring at her, and a gentleman wouldn't stare. She was fairly good looking, but she looked as if she had a hell of a past, he had noticed the scars on her legs. The blond man finally decided to talk to her. "Ello, my name is Arthur Kirkland, I have a feeling that I know you from some where, if you would be so kind as to help me remember if it was you that I have seen?" He gave a charming smile, after all he didn't want to scare her, after all she was already halfway off the bench!

Anke had noticed right away the man sitting next to her was staring, but she kept her eyes forward. A couple times she considered actually getting up and skating, but dismissed the idea right away. She didn't want to make a fool of herself. From the corner of her bright blue eyes she saw the English man glance away and she let out a tiny breath. She didn't like attention, but froze when he began speaking. She finally looked at him, her blue eyes studied him momentarily. Had they met before? It sounded like some sort of cheesy pick up line, but she suddenly remembered how much she looked like her older brother, Ludwig. "Anke Bielschmidt." She replied calmly, looking straight into the blondes green eyes. "Perhaps you have confused me for mein bruder? Ludvig?" She suggested, her voice straight and unwavering. The German felt her cheeks blush a bit, something that was rare for her, when she looked in his eyes and for the first time she could remember she dropped her gaze and faced forward towards the rink full of skaters.
England noticed the German accent right away, and when she said Ludwig he immediately thought of Germany. So Ludwig has a sister..? he smiled slightly, "perhaps you are right. I didn't know that Ludwig had a sister though I know your brother through work, I guess you can consider us loose friends... I'm sorry to bother you with my silly questions but it would have bugged me not to know. I apologize, but It's a pleaser to meet you Anke." He held out her hand for her to shake, and smiled politely. It didn't seem that she was having much fun here and to tell the truth, he Wasn't having a grand time either. maybe I'll ask her to accompany me for a skate. A lady shouldn't be unhappy any where, so maybe it would cheer her up... I'll ask later right now may be to abrupt."

Jade Jackson walked into the skating rink, she was board just sitting at home so she figured that she might as well get off her ass and do something besides watching the tube all day. She had left the house wearing a strap less short black dress with a purple bow on her waist and a small clip on top hat with a purple sash adorned on her head. she also had black eyeliner, purple eyeshadow, and black skates with purple wheels and her blonde hair was tied back into a slightly curly ponytail. She looked around to see if there were any familiar faces and saw that Woodlind girl and her brother Arthur Kirkland, or otherwise known as England. She noticed that Victoria was talking to some girl and that Arthur was talking to another girl who looked a lot like Germany. She decided to skate around the roller corse for a little bit, or until Arthur and that girl were finished talking, she wasn't just going to ignore her best friend and secret crush, it wasn't like her, and she would be a fool to do so.

Vera tilted her head curiously as Victoria blushed brightly and she opened her mouth as if to speak.she cut herself off as her gaze shifted behind Victoria and landed on the fairly large portion of the skate rink that was filled with the bright flashing lights of arcade games. Vera smiled brightly at Victoria. "lets go play some games!!" Vera suggested cheerfully, grabbing for Victoria's hand and leading her towards the lights that just about called for Vera to go over to them. She began fishing out many coins from her pockets and smiling childishly.

Anke allowed herself to take another glance at the English man. Her eyes flickered down at his hand for a moment and seemed to think carefully before shaking it. A small smiled was hinted on her face but didn't seem to make it to her cold blue eyes, which were even icier then Germany's. "it's quite alright." she said quietly, her voice losing a bit of the edge that it had at first, but she was in no way relaxed. There were too many people here, and she wasn't in the best of moods. Especially as some stranger was speaking to her, but he seemed to know her brother, so that was at least a bit comforting. She glanced away again, realizing she was staring at the mans green eyes.
