He nodded. "yes, the frozen ponds, the blanket of snow, and each and every snowflake, each unique and different." He said, finding himself speaking more than usual.
"You draw?" He said quietly then went on. "winter is the most peaceful, animals in their burrows, the only sounds are the wind and the slight crunch of the icey snow beneath your feet" he mused and chuckled a bit.
Rose nodded in agreement. "yeah I do, but not as much as I sing or play instruments." she layed back into the pine needles. A simply beautiful smell hit her nose and she sighed.
"That is one instrument I haven't really tried. " she moved over, closer to him. "I love to play the keyboard, violin, and ocarina." she began to dig through her pockets for her ocarina, she normally had it on her.
He smiled, feeling rather amused. "Ive been playing guitar since I was 10, I tried trumpet but I didnt like that I couldnt sing with the music." He said and wondered what sh e was looking for.
She pulled out the little instrument. It was painted to look like a British flag. She flittered out a few notes. "how cool." she then played again. The instrument sounded happy and up beat.
He watched the bird disapear and returned his attention to rose. "I was considering walking to town to get some coffee, would you like to join me?" He asked her calmly.
She smiled at his offer. "sure I would love to ." she tried not to sound to happy. This was going to be a great day. Coffee, she didn't rally like it, but would sacrafice her tastes for this.
