Corvus made his way down the street, walking due to the fact his car was in the shop. He sighed and kept walking, humming random tunes every now and then. He finally got to his destination; a small music store that sold every single band he could think of, including many from different countries, which didn't suprise him since there were many around there that spoke several different languages. He walked in, hearing the small tingle of the bell that alerted the cashier that someone had came in. Corvus began wandering around, looking over many of the CD's, trying to decide what he wanted and how much money he would spend.
Marabeth stood on an isle labeled 'metal', being her favorite genre of music. She was looking around trying to find a new band to listen to. Her red eyes skimmed over many CD's she already owned and some that she just wouldn't give a second look to. She reached out for one and grabbed it with her black lace covered hands, read it over and set it back down. She sighed in disappointment, 'None of these CD's will work', she skimmed over some more.
Corvus pulled a CD out, a skillet one to be precise, and he flipped it over to read the songs on it. He began walking over tothe metal section, eyes glued to the CD in his hand, and he didn't noticed a young lady standing there. He bumped into her, startled himself and jumping. Chorus began stuttering an apology and stepping back and tripped, literally everything, and fell back into a rack of cds. He quickly stood up, kneeling down to pick up the mess. He cast a glance at marabeth, smiling awkwardly. "My apologies, ma'am." He said quickly before returning his attention to his mess.
She finally found one that looked somewhat interesting and good. She reached to pick it up when someone bumped into her, and in the meantime completely knocked down CD's. She wasn't too fond of strangers, but anyone who had a Skillet CD couldn't be too bad, right? Marabeth bent down and started helping the stranger pick up the things that fell. "It's fine" she said hoping that he could tell her sincerity through her monotoned voice.
He nodded, soon finishing picking up his mess. Corvus glanced at the employee and stifled a laugh when he noticed the man seemed mad. He stood up, casting a friendly smile at Mara. He was always awkward around people, and this time was no different. "Sorry again,"he said, feeling the need to re iterate that. He paused but held out his hand. "Im Chorus!" He chided brightly.
She half smiled, "Marabeth" she took his hand and shook it. She too was awkward when it came to socializing, she is pretty introverted and antisocial. "So, you have a pretty good taste in music" she tried to make small talk to him.
Ooc: Pfft, stupid spell check doesn't like his name XD Haha if it says Chorus it means Corvus
Corvus chuckled and smiled. "Thanks! Haha, Skillet is pretty good," He glanced over at the metal section that she had been looking at. "You as well." He commented
"Oh... um thanks" she said surprised, most people didn't like metal. "Which one should I get?" she held out a Black Veil Brides cd and a Falling in Reverse cd, she loved both, and seeing this person has a good taste in music, maybe he could help her decide.
He looked thoughtful for a few moments, considering which one sounded better in his opinion. "I would suggest Black Veil Brides, although Falling in Reverse isn't bad either." He commented brightly, seeming to have a friendly composure about his.
"Thanks" she nodded and headed over to the register to buy it. She glaced back at Corvus trying to decide whether or not he seemed like a potential friend. "Do you maybe want to go... do something?" she asked trying to be nice to the stranger, who seemed really cool actually.
Corvus blinked and paused, not really understadning what she had asked at first, since most people don't tend to ask him to do things, most people found him rather boring. He smiled his small but kind smile and nodded. "Sure! I'd love to!" He answered cheerfully
