Marabeth smiled quickly, the devilish grin growing wider before she spoke. He fangs were now visible, "I have some human in the back" she joked, but afterall, she is monotoned.

Ooc: hahaha that just killed me XD im laughing more than I should be!
Vera's eyes widened slightly and she just stared at Marabeth. She cast nervous glance at Vlad, smiling a bit uneasily. "Hehe, she, er, joking... right?" So far, marabeth didn't seem like much of a joker.
Vlads face was very plain, it showed no emotion. "Yes... Sure." He felt the need to have some fun too. He flashed his fangs again. He turned back to Mara and played along with her. "How frsh is it?"
She knew now he was playing along, "Hm... not as fresh as it could be..." she threw a quick glance at Vera, as a suggestion. "So Vera... Care to be- I mean join us for dinner tonight?" She tried her hardest to keep her smile from being appearent.

Vera froze in her spot, sadly she was quite gullible. "Uh, i, w-w-w..." She started stuttering, now nervous about her new friends that she has met. Her voice faltered in her throat and she had a look of pure horror on her face.
Vlad smirked and walked to the kitchen. He poured himself a glass of pomegranate Juice. In the glass it looked like blood, he also poured one for Mara. He walked back to the two girls with the blood like juice. "You thirsty?" He handed her the red liquid and took a sip of his.
A small smirk appeared on her face as she thankfully grabbed the glass and took a sip of the crimson red drink. She looked at Vera, "You never answered my question..." her pupils were now dialated due to the amount of light they had to turn on due to a guest.

It took Vera a few moments to comprehend what Mara had said to her. Vera was now backed against a wall, her eyes glued to the glasses they were drinking from. "I-i-im n-not so s-s-s-" her last words died in her throat, unable to make any sound but a small whimper.
Marabeth went over to Vera, "You will join us for dinner..." this time it wasn't a question, more of a harsh, monotoned demand. She set her now empty cup down and went into the kitchen to start preparing dinner.
Vlad smiled and put his arm around Vera as if to guide her to a seat. "So Vera what kind of foods do you like?" He pulled out another book and flipped through the pages looking for something interesting to read.

She flinched slightly, now completely scared to death, mainly by Mara, whom Vera found a bit scary. But, were they drinking blood?! "Uh, r-r-really a-a-anyth-thing" She stuttered out.
Vlad shrugged and called to mara. "It seems this one eats anything mara. Those ones taste the best." He laughed and continued to flip through the pages of his book. "I just can't stand picky eaters."
"Understood" she glanced at Vera and licked her lips. 'This girl is too easy' she thought about how uneasy Vera looks. "Vera... Would you like to be- I mean help me with dinner?" she asked hoping to scare the poor girl even more.

The idea of going with Mara scared poor Vera more than Vladimir. Something about Marabeth, not just the dinner thing, scared her to death. Vera flinched away from Mara and toward Vlad, seeming as though she had forgotten he was in on this too. "I th-th-think i-ill :-pass..." she said quietly, her face had lost any color it had and her pink eyes just stared at Mara.
Vlad quickly pulled Vera into his arms. He was holding her protectively. "She's mine Mara, I found her!" He snickered a bit and stared at her. He flashed another joker smile. "It's okay, I won't let my strange friend ea- take you away from me."
